How is it that the heart, the most rhytmic grouping of organic tissue in a living mammal, became assosciated with love? I've thought about this, and I've come to one stupifyingly obvious conclusion. When two people are close, lying together and holding each other a thumping rhythym is what they hear and feel eminating from the very center of the person they are with. It reassures them with each beat that there is someone there for them, possibly loving them at THAT very instant. It is a constant tangible, palpable source of euphoria that supplies solace and joy. These two combined, are very similar, perhaps even the very result of, what we know as love. And that is why we love with our "heart." Think about it.
So anyway, live by running for what's ahead of you, and not running from what's behind, and when you reach whatever lies ahead, love it.
